The Minister of Culture and Information, Lai Mohammed has called out the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over his comments on the present administration.
Mohammed while speaking at the seventh edition of PMB Administration Scorecard in Abuja on Monday said that Atiku lost touch with Nigeria when he relocated to Dubai.
His words were in response to Atiku's criticism of the Buhari government during his campaign in Akure.
The former vice president was reported to have said the current administration has done nothing for Nigerians despite ruling the country for eight years.
Addressing Atiku's comments, Mohammed stated that the former is at the forefront of those who downplay the Buhari administration.
“The worst offender in this regard has been the presidential candidate of the PDP, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
“During his recent campaign in Akure, the former VP was quoted as saying the APC had not done anything for Nigeria in eight years. What a preposterous statement from somebody who should know.
I guess we can excuse His Excellency the former Vice President who, until recently, had fully relocated to Dubai, thus losing touch with Nigeria", Mohammed said.
