Bola Tinubu's latest outbursts against the federal government have earned him scathing remarks from the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who says citizens must not be fooled by his deceit.
It came as surprise to many when the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flag bearer berated President Muhammadu Buhari's administration for the lingering fuel crisis and the naira exchange rate.
Speaking on Tinubu's criticism, Atiku while campaigning in Abeokuta, Ogun State said the former is trying to extricate himself from the failures of the ruling party which he defended years ago.
According to the former vice president, Tinubu is a charlatan who is now pretending to be on the side of the masses.
“Tinubu has disingenuously been criticising Buhari, trying to extricate himself from the failures of the APC which he had vigorously defended in the last eight years.
"Nigerians must not be deceived by this charlatan who is now posing to be on the side of the masses.
“It is funny that Tinubu, who proudly held the position of the national leader of the APC for the last eight years, could throw the President under the bus in his failed and desperate quest for power”, Atiku stated.
