Controversial Nigerian singer and actor Charly Boy has expressed confidence in the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, winning the 2023 election.
Sharing a collage of images on his official Twitter page, the 'Area Fada' wondered if by inviting Obi Britain was indirectly telling Nigerians he was already the nation's president.
Charly Boy disclosed that every election year, Britain invites their preferred Nigerian presidential candidate to Number 10 Downing Street, citing the instances of Olusegun Obasanjo in 1998 and Goodluck Jonathan in 2010.
The King of Boys star concluded by saying that Peter Obi will be Nigeria's next president and that the others are "just making noise".
"Is dis how Britain lets us know our next President? Every election year, they invite their prefered Nigerian presidential candidate to Number 10 Downing Street.
"They invited Obasanjo in 1998. '99 he became President. GEJ in 2010. 2011 he became President.
"Buhari in 2014. 2015 he was rigged in as Presidiot. Now they have invited Peter Obi in 2022. Hope it's getting clearer to you now?
