Nigeria's search for a seemingly elusive medal at the 2024 Olympics will continue in the men's 400m final, as Samuel Ogazi qualified for the final showdown, reports Allnews.ng.
Ogazi became the first Nigerian athlete to qualifiy for the 400m men's final in the Olympics since 1988.
Ogazi achieved the feat by earning a Personal Best time of 44.41 seconds.
The Nigerian contigent hasve not been impressive at the Games but Ogazi's final qualification represents a faint hope for diadem.
Earlier on Tuesday Udodi Onwuzuruike competed in the repetage for the men's hurdles event.
