The Benue State Governor-elect, Hyacinth Alia, has released the names of his transition committee to aid smooth handover.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Director of Communications to the Governor-elect, Kula Tersoo.
According to the statement the Committee was mandated to collaborate with the outgoing government's transition committee to ensure a seamless handover of power.
The committee has former Head of Service Chief Mike Iordye as chairman while Dan Ashiekaa is to serve as secretary.
Other members include; Prof. John Enyi, Prof. Steven Ugbah, Chief Hinga Biem, Dr Moses Tule, Arch Samuel Agule, Hon. Paul Biam, Barr. Moses Atagher, Hon. Emmanuel Atser PhD, Dr Emmanuel Chenge, Humbe Mkena.
Also, Dr Christopher Obute, Prof. Christie Ekoja, Hon. Philip Kwaghsor, Lady Helen Atom, Barr. Bemsen Mnyim, Nana Mede, Hon. Nick Wende, Dr Timothy Aikyor, Hon. Nick Eworo, Lady Susan Achiaga, Hon. Dorothy Mato, Dr Patrick Onumah, Monday Morgan, Hon. Solomon Wombo, Hon. Dan Onje, Barr. Patricia Kupchi, Rev. Pst Philip Tachin PhD.
The Committee will be formally inaugurated on Friday, April 21, 2023, at the Tinubu-Shettima Campaign office. The function will be followed immediately by the Committee's inaugural meeting at the same venue.
