A Nigerian company called Bluechip Technologies, which offers business application and data management solutions, has announced that it is expanding to Europe in response to the rising demand for its goods and services.
In a statement released on Monday, Bluechip Technologies claimed the company's strategic growth has positioned it as a fresh competitor in the EU market, offering technologies for data warehousing and analytics.
According to the statement, Bluechip is a business application company that specialises solely in helping businesses create, implement, and run business application solutions.
The business claimed to have been instrumental in the expansion of data warehousing throughout Africa.
The company specialises in data warehousing and enterprise solutions for banks and telcos, the statement claims.
According to the statement, Richard Lewis, who oversaw the expansion, would serve as the CEO of Bluechip EU Subsidiary in all of Europe.
"We are thrilled to be one of the trusted professionals addressing the expanding demand for data goods and solutions in the worldwide market," said Olumide Soyombo, co-founder of Bluechip Technologies.
“Numerous businesses trust us to provide quality analytics solutions which have led to referrals from our international clients in Africa for projects outside the continent.
“We are looking forward to combining our expertise with local knowledge to secure new strategic relationships, with the experience we bring from one of the toughest markets,“ he said.
Speaking of the CEO who would be overseeing the expansion, he noted that Lewis was a seasoned professional with four decades of expertise in the technology sector.
"I am happy to work with the Bluechip team. I have worked with the founders on a number of different initiatives over the years," he added.
