BRT: Bamise Was Killed After They Cut Her Private Part — Sister

Damilola Titilayo Ayanwola has revealed how her junior sister, Bamise Ayanwola who went missing after boarding a Lagos BRT and was later found dead was killed.

Titilayo at a press conference held at the Committee for the Defence of Human Right (CDHR) office, Adeniyi Jones on Tuesday said Bamise died in pains and claimed that Bamise's private part was mutilated by those who attacked her. 

“Bamise was not just killed, she suffered hell,” Titilayo said fighting back tears.

She, subsequently, called on the Lagos State and Federal governments to ensure justice.

“Governor Sanwo-Olu, I am challenging you. My family is not wealthy, we are not influential but we have God.

"We work hard and struggle to survive. We are content with what we have.

"We are Christians to the core. Why has our last born been used for the things of the world? This is a money ritual case.

“She died in pain after they cut her private parts.

"They didn’t kill her before cutting her private parts.

"If you are a lover of wrestling, there is what they call hell in the cell.

22-year-old Oluwabamise Ayanwola, who was last seen inside a Lagos BRT vehicle on Saturday, February 26 was found dead on Monday, March 7, 2022, and the police subsequently arrested the driver, Nice Andrew Omininikoron, on the same day.

Ayanwola got missing while returning to Otta from Ajah when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7 p.m. at Chevron Bus Stop.
