Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been denied application for bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
AllNews Nigeria reports that the judge, Binta Nyako, deemed the application to be an abuse of the legal system after it had previously been rejected in her decision on Tuesday.
Thereafter, the case was adjourned until November 14 for mention and to await the outcome of Kanu’s appeal at the appellate court
Nnamdi Kanu was re-arrested on a 15-count revised allegation that borders on treason.
On April 8, the judge, however, dismissed eight of the 15-count allegation.
