The Senate is sending a delegation to the United Kingdom on a solidarity visit to the embattled former Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice.
Ekweremadu and his wife are detained in prison custody, in the UK for alleged organ harvesting
The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, made the announcement on Wednesday's plenary after a closed-door session.
He said the lawmakers who are drawn from the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs are expected to be in the UK on Friday.
Lawan also commended the British High Commission for the way the alleged organ harvesting suit is being handled.
