The order was given in the suit marked NSHC/225/2019 after Yahaya and Olabanji were found guilty of contempt.

The counsel to the plaintiffs/applicants, Mohammed Liman, who filed the motion for the issuance of the warrants requested the court to send the chief of army staff and the commandant to the correctional centre for disobeying an order made on October 12, 2022.
