People who skip breakfast are likely to have cardiovascular diseases like elevated blood pressure, obesity, and poor nutrition while people who eat breakfast tend to have reduced rates of heart diseases, normal sugar levels, and low blood pressure.

3. Onychophagia

Onychophagia is a clinical name for nail-biting. Most people are addicted to eating or biting their nails, which is often related to a psycho-emotional state of anxiety.

However, nail-biting is not an addiction that cannot be addressed; it can be stopped by self-care relaxation.

For example, when you feel like biting your nail, you can choose to participate in other activities you are comfortable with like engaging in exercises that make you feel relaxed or talking to someone.

4. Not Drinking Enough Water

Did you know that water accounts for up to 60 percent of the human body? According to research, adult men need up to 13 cups of water a day and adult women need up to 9 cups of water.

In fact, you might decide more depending on your diet, environment or humidity, and the temperature of where you live.

Research has it that over 86 percent of Nigerians don’t drink enough water daily, and when you don’t drink enough water, this might lead to dehydration and dehydration which can lead to tiredness, persistent headache, and dull skin.

5. Eating Late At Night

Many people find themselves eating late at night even when they are not hungry.

Studies have shown that eating late at night can cause depression, weight gain, and higher levels of blood pressure and can as well increase the risk of diabetes.

People might eat late at night due to their daily activities, stress, and work schedule. However, eating can be prevented by identifying the cause and easily adjusting your schedule, using a meal routine, and also trying to eat regularly throughout the day.
