Ganduje's Aide Alleges Attack By Kwankwasiyya Followers In Kano

The Senior Special Assistant to the Kano State Governor, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Na'isa, has allged that he was attacked by thugs suspected to be followers of the Kwankwasiyya movement in the state.

Na'isa claimed that the attackers took his phone after stabbing him with a knife.

Daily Trust reports that the incident occurred on Sunday evening at Kofar Dan Agundi.

Na'isa added that the attackers also terrorized passersby when he was attack. 

“The thugs might have been exploiting gatherings of people and committing their atrocities, intimidating them and seizing their personal properties.

“I was attacked by thugs today at Kofar Dan Agundi who stabbed me with knife and took away my mobile phone containing my MTN line.

“Luckily for me in God’s grace, I have not sustained any serious injury but they were able to cart away my phone.

“I pray the Almighty God will continue to protect our lives from such malice” he stated."

Kwankwasiyya is a political movement for the support of the former governor of Kano State and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) ahead of 2023 election, Senator Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso. 

Meanwhile, the movement is yet to comment on the allegation.
