The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Ahiazu Assembly constituency, Hon. Nduka Anyanwu has been kidnapped.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning while the candidate was on his way to finalise arrangements for his booth agents in Ahiazu.
A source close to the party said some gunmen waylaid the APGA candidate on his way to see his booth agents.
“We call on security agents to track them. We call on the public who might have any useful information to inform any nearby police station. Just happened around 9.00 am today, Tuesday, 22nd November 2022, ” the source said.
According to the source, efforts are been made to secure his release.
