How To Play With Friends In The Cycle: Frontier

The Cycle: Frontier is the new game everyone is talking about, and in all honesty, why should they not. It is a fantastic offering by Yager Development. A game that is a unique combination of survival elements and FPS elements in a sort of open world, what is not there to like.

The publishers of the game describe it as a PvEvP game (Player vs. Environment vs. Players), where you are fighting against other players but also actively combating the hostile environment of the abandoned planet of Fortuna III.

The gameplay is challenging, something you need to brace yourself for if you have not played this amazing game yet.

The game is based in the interstellar universe. In each round, twenty players take the role of mercenaries, trying to complete various tasks and gathering resources from the planet, which they can later sell on the station.

Unlike the other games where you can opt for hacks and cheats to make your gaming experience a lot easier, having a Cycle Frontier Esp cheat would not really help you much.

You could still be knocked out if you are not careful about your surroundings at all times.

The best way one can enjoy this game is with their friends. You can play as part of a duo or a team, with up to three friends as part of your team.

But adding them to The Cycle: Frontier has proven to be a challenging experience. But do not worry, as we have created a guide with instructions to help you out.

How to add friends in The Cycle: Frontier (Steam and EPIC Games Store)

The easiest way one can add their friends on The Cycle: Frontier is by sending them your username for them to add you as a friend.

Naturally, this would make the whole process significantly easier for you. You can find your name in the menu section.

Simply hit the tab key, go to the menu, and look at the top left corner of the screen. This is the username of your Steam/ EPIC Games store account.

Send the username to your friends and once they send you a request, accept it. By adding them as friends on the game stores, you will automatically have them in your friend list in the game as well.

But what if you have to add them by yourself? Well, that process is also quite simple as you can go to the menu section, click on your name, and then select the friend list.

Once you do that, you will get a dialogue box where you can manually enter the username and click on the add friend icon.

Inform your friends you have sent a friend request and then should accept immediately. And voila, you have added friends to your The Cycle: Frontier account.

What if The Cycle: Frontier friends are not showing up?

There is a bug in the system where the friends are not appearing on the friend list, or at least appearing as offline, making it impossible for players to invite them for a match.

There is no current solution to this problem, but the developers have assured the players that they are working diligently to fix this issue.

However, you do not have to wait for an update to come through, as there is a workaround that you can try out.

Step 1: Remove your friend from your stream account. The very first step to be considered here is to remove your friend.

To add a person to the game, you have to remove them first.

Step2: Restart the game and then click on the add friend section.

Step 3: The next step is to add the players manually to the game using their unique in-game ID. This ID is basically the username they have in The Cycle: Frontier. Do not confuse this username with the Stream/ EPIC Games store username.

Step 4: Lastly, click on the send request option and ask them to accept your request.

Step 5(Optional): Once you have successfully added your friend to the game, you can add their steam account back to your profile. Just follow the above-listed steps.

This workaround has been successful for many players, but it is still possible that you might be one of the unlucky ones. If such is the case, you must wait until the developers will fix this issue.
