The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has announced that the partial system collapse on Monday has resulted in the outages being experienced within the franchise.
The electricity distribution company in a statement signed by its management however stated that it was doing everything possible to ensure speedy restoration of power supply.
"Kindly note that there was a system collapse on Monday 26th September, 2022 around 10:52am which has resulted in the outages being experienced within our franchise.
"We are working with our partners in the value chain to ensure speedy restoration of power supply.
"We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience."
