The Rector of Hassan Usman Polytechnic Katsina, Dr Ibrahim Mudi-Kurfi, has promised to maintain the standards of the institution.
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Katsina, Mudi-Kurfi boasted that the graduates of the polytechnic rank among the best in the labour market.
“Even those that proceeded to universities to acquire more knowledge also tend to be the best in those places.
“It is on this note that we will not relent on our efforts to train our students to always be the best, both in labour markets and other higher institutions of learning.
“We sincerely thank the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, for the financial and moral support to ensure smooth and effective programmes in the Polytechnic,’’ the Rector added.
He further attributed the academic excellence and stability enjoyed by the institution to the involvement of its stakeholders in its affairs.
He noted that there was no record of social vices among its students.
