A thug met his waterloo in the Ago Palace area of Okota, Lagos when he attempted to disrupt the voting process during the ongoing election in the region.

For Lagosians living in the Ago Palace vicinity, fate was on their side when an unidentified hoodlum with alleged ties to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) reportedly tried to attack those out to vote for the opposition.

Per online reports, the people fought back and the thug lost his life in the ensuing altercation after being shot.

A video posted online shows the individual lying lifeless on the ground.

At some point, an enraged resident picks up the club by his side and it takes the intervention of someone close by to stop the fatal blow that almost lands.

As of the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained if the thug was still alive or not but those in the area appeared to be content that his plan was thwarted.
