The Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, has promised more support for the game of polo which he described as one sport that has put the name of the state on the national and international map.

The Governor appreciated the President of Plateau State Polo Club, Murtala Laushi and his team who have done a lot to transform the Club to be one of the best in the country.

He said the return of polo and other social activities in the state is as a result of the restoration of peace which has attracted many people to the Home of Peace and Tourism.
