Meta on Tuesday revealed that users would be able to share their NFTs on Facebook and Instagram. To upload digital collectibles created on Ethereum, Polygon, and Flow, users can connect their wallets, such as Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and Dapper Wallet.

“As we continue rolling out digital collectibles on Facebook and Instagram, we’ve started giving people the ability to post digital collectibles that they own across both Facebook and Instagram. This will enable people to connect their digital wallets once to either app in order to share their digital collectibles across both,” the company said in its blog post.

NFT testing has been going on at the company since May on both of its platforms. Therefore, the following is a brief recap of what Meta has accomplished thus far in the digital collectible industry:

These processes are simply extended in the test we are taking today. Only users who are based in the United States, however, have the option to cross-post NFTs on both Facebook and Instagram at the moment.

The company is developing special animations for NFT posts and digital collectable collections in addition to expanding support for presenting various digital treasures, app sleuths have observed. Zuckerberg had stated earlier in the year that Meta will work on making NFTs compatible with Spark AR and Instagram Stories for both display and sharing.

Meta is attempting to attract a wider audience by providing tools that would let individuals flaunt their digital valuables through posts, whereas other platforms like Twitter and Reddit have focused on NFT-based avatars.

The company wants more crypto-native people to be able to display digital art on a widely used platform by supporting all major blockchains and wallets. On the other hand, those who are interested in cryptocurrencies can view NFT postings in their feeds just like any other post to find out more information.

Long before Instagram started promoting NFT, artists were already publishing their works there. In an effort to profit from this, the corporation has created a long-term roadmap for creator support. Instagram's CEO Adam Mosseri stated in May that the business is looking into digital collectible sales to provide creators with more ways to monetize their work.

Meta has also stated an intention to create a digital art market where products from the metaverse can be bought.
