One Dead, Another In Critical Condition During Midday Shootout

A 28-year-old man was killed in South Africa and another was left critically injured after a shooting in Midrand on Saturday, March 18, 2023. 

Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to a shooting incident on the N1 north near the New Road Bridge.

When they arrived on the scene, they discovered two men who had been shot multiple times.

A 28-year-old man died as a result of his injuries and paramedics declared him dead upon arrival.

Meanwhile, they discovered a second man, about 50 years old, in critical condition.

Emergency Medical Technicians worked tirelessly to stabilize the critically injured man.

They then rushed him to a nearby hospital for further treatment by ambulance.

The South African Police Services will look into the incident and the events that led up to it.

The facts surrounding the incident are still unknown as of the time of this publication.
