There was tension in Ugbolu community near Asaba, Delta State on Wednesday as gunmen suspected to be members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, (IPOB) allegedly enforced the sit-at-home in the area.
It was learned that the gunmen who were on the rampage burnt down two Dangote trucks, one keke and damaged one Audi car.
The equally blocked the Ugbolu/Illah Road at Mile 5, shooting indiscriminately.
One person was reportedly shot dead during the incident.
The police spoksman in the state DSP Bright Edafe could not confirm the incident as he said he was yet to get an official report.
