The special adviser to the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Legislative Matters, Stephen Tyochir, has tendered his resignation to the state government.
In a letter dated June 28, 2022, and made available to All News Nigeria's correspondent on Wednesday, Tyochir, disclosed that his reasons for resigning are private.
The special adviser, however, expressed appreciation to the Governor for the opportunity to serve in his cabinet.
"Your excellency. I may wish to kindly tender my resignation as your special adviser on legislative matters based on personal reasons.
"I am pleased to profoundly appreciate you for finding me worthy to serve the people of Benue State under your administration and the working relationship that existed between us while working with you.
"Sir, this resignation is in good faith and without ill-feeling, but to enable me to concentrate on my private life.
