Peru's new president, Dina Boluarte on Saturday swore in her cabinet.
This comes just three days after she became the country's first female head of state.
The new president, Dina Boluarte took office on Wednesday after former President Pedro Castillo was sacked by Congress and later arrested for rebellion and conspiracy, as he attempted to dissolve the legislature to prevent impeachment. Boluarte was Castillo's vice president.
Amongst her cabinet, Boluarte named former Deputy Finance Minister Alex Contreras to serve as economy minister.
Chemical engineer Oscar Vera will also serve as energy and mines minister.
Former state prosecutor Pedro Angulo will be serving as prime minister.
