President Tinubu arrives Saudi Arabia ahead of World Economic Forum

Bola Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, has landed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia capital. 

Allnews.ng gathered that Tinubu landed in Saudi Arabia on Friday to attend a special World Economic Forum conference.

Following his state visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Nigerian leader proceeded too Saudi Arabia.

The World Economic Forum conference will focus on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, and over 1,000 executives from industry, government, and academia are anticipated to participate. It is scheduled for April 28th and 29th, 2024.

On Thursday, while in the Netherlands, President Tinubu held a business meeting with Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, as well as Dutch businesses and investors.


President Tinubu urged Nigeria and the Netherlands to strengthen ties during the meeting, according to a statement published by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale.

He stated that both nations should look into more innovative ways to collaborate, such as partnerships, joint ventures, or strategic alliances, in order to construct bridges that connect markets and promote the movement of commodities, services, ideas, and people.

He stated that his administration is implementing business-friendly measures, including increasing openness in the Forex market and the CBN providing the appropriate window for foreign corporations to repatriate earnings.
