Oluremi Tinubu, Wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu assumed office as Nigeria's First Lady in Abuja on Monday.
Tinubu who arrived at the First Lady’s wing was escorted by her security aides.
On arrival, The First Lady was received by the Permanent Secretary of the State House, Tijjani Umar and other Heads of Units in her Office.
The Administrative, ICT, Catering, Media, and Protocol Units offices within the First Lady's wing were further shown to Tinubu during the trip.
Tinubu was born to Itsekiri's mother and Yoruba's father on September 21, 1960.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Ife and has attended a number of courses at different colleges and universities.
Oluremi was the governor of Lagos State's wife between 1999 through 2007, after which she was elected to the Senate as the senator representing Lagos Central.
