A 21-year-old South African allegedly stabbed his father to death following an altercation in Hillcrest on Friday morning.
According to Colonel Robert Netshiunda, spokesman for the provincial police, Hillcrest police are looking into a murder case after an alleged stabbing incident involving a 21-year-old suspect and his 46-year-old father on May 12, 2023, in Botha's Hill, South Africa.
“It is alleged that the victim had an altercation with his son where they assaulted each other, and led to the father being stabbed.
“Reports indicate that the deceased was rushed to the clinic for medical attention and later died. The suspect was arrested,” he said.
An incident report states that his sister attempted to step in, but the man attacked his father repeatedly while stabbing him multiple times.
The man was urgently taken to the Nyuswa Clinic but unfortunately passed away after a while.
