Private polytechnic institutions are known for their well-equipped academic facilities and standard teaching process of technical education. 

We are also aware that most parents or guardians who are keen to make their children or wards attend a polytechnic institution will want them to attend the best. 

It is believed that the best polytechnic institutions are privately owned. This is because privately owned polytechnic institutions are well-equipped with all the necessary academic facilities, infrastructure and technology which students need to learn in a standard and conducive school environment.

1. Igbajo Polytechnic Institution

Nigeria's first community polytechnic, Igbajo Polytechnic began operation in 2002.
