The appointment of Jim Uwadiae has been announced by the Management Board of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) as the new Director of Administration.
In a statement issued by Joshua Uwaila, Head, Public Relations and Protocols, UBTH, and made available to journalists in Benin on Friday, the new director assumed office on January 31.
UUwadia's appointment was followed by the retirement of Mustapha Jimoh-Kadiri, the statesman added.

According to the statement, Uwadiae was the acting Director of Administration until his recent appointment.
It reads, "Jim Uwadiae, is an alumnus of the Bendel State (now Ambrose Alli University) and University of Benin. He acquired a Bachelor degree in History/Education in 1991.
“Uwadiae holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) 1997, Master of Health Planning and Management (MHPM) 2006; and Master of Laws (LLM) 2021.
"He is also the Chairman of Institute of Health Service Administrators, UBTH Chapter and Chairman, Nigeria Institute of Management, UBTH Unit,” the statement said.
