The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has released the results of the Post-Unified Tertiary Examination (Post UTME) and Direct Entry screening organised by the institution.
The release of the results was disclosed in a statement by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Dr Benedicta Ehanire.
According to Ehanire, the results showed that 92.29 of the 13,331 candidates who sat for the entrance examination passed the test which was conducted via a computer-based system.
“A total of 13,331 candidates were screened for the PUTME, which recorded a 92.29 per cent pass.
“On the other hand, 538 candidates sat for the PUDE, with 75.28 per cent pass recorded.
"The results have been uploaded on the University’s website,” Ehanire said.
The entrance examination for the 2022/2023 session was held at the Ugbowo campus of the institution between November 14 and18, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
