Residents in Kaduna have revealed how they are going about the ongoing voters registration as the deadline given by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) arrives.

Per reports, citizens in their hundreds have flocked to the various centre in Kaduna to register and even though INEC officials were not on ground to attend to them, their numbers continue to increase.

As revealed by Daily Post, a resident named Musa Moses revealed that he and his family were displaced by bandits and that they now had to register close to their residence.

Another individual who gave her name as Juliana Adejo stated that she relocated from Kajuru to Kurmi Gwari in Kakuri as she plans to vote in her new vicinity in next year's elections.

"Since bandits kidnapped my husband alongside others in Kajuru community, we have relocated to a more secure environment and I have to register afresh", she shared.

For Elizabeth Musa, her transfer to Kaduna means she now needs a new voter card or she may have to transfer her old one to her present location.

What most of the residents hope for is an extension of the deadline given by INEC.
