The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara has described the passing of the State Chairman of PDP, Ahmed Sani Kaita as sudden and shocking.
This was contained in a statement signed by the APC's Aublicity Secretary, Zamfara State Chapter Yusuf Idris Gusau on Wednesday.
"The Chairman, honorable Tukur Umar Danfulani wishes to extend his heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended family members of late honorable Ahmed Sani Kaura, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the state whose sudden death was announced this afternoon", the statement partly reads.
"...But as Muslims, we know that no one goes beyond his time on this earth as ordained by Allah", it adds.
The APC also consoles the entire members of the PDP over this great loss which came at this crucial time of our political and social development.
According to the APC, Kaita's death comes while he was working towards peace in the midst of Islamic scholars.
The APC prayed to Allah to reward him in abundance and grant him eternal rest in Jannatu Firdaus.
