DN Tyre & Rubber was established on October 21, 1961, and became listed on the stock exchange the same year, officially commencing operations in 1963.

DN Tyre & Rubber Plc specializes in marketing automotive tires. Their product range includes A606, featuring four wide circumferential tread grooves and bead profile design; A607, with four wide circumferential tread grooves, lateral grooves, and fine sipes for effective water evacuation; and TS344, an all-position general-purpose tire designed for medium commercial vehicles. The company provides tires for various vehicle categories, including cars, minivans, SUVs, trucks, and buses.

In Nigeria, DN Tyre & Rubber manufactures and sells a diverse range of vehicle tires. A subsidiary of DN Tyre & Rubber Plc, Pamol (Nigeria) Limited, contributes to the manufacturing process by supplying natural rubber through five rubber estate operations covering 15,738 hectares in Ikot Okpora and Nko/Agoi Ibani Rubber Estates. These estates were acquired from the Cross River State Government during the privatization of government-owned plantations.

Formerly known as Dunlop Nigeria Plc, the company underwent a name change to DN Tyre & Rubber plc in 2009. The corporate headquarters are situated in Lagos, Nigeria.
