JULI PLC is a Nigerian company with operations in pharmacy, laboratory, supermarket, and water services. Established in 1971 by Prince Julius Adewale Adelusi-Adeluyi, a pharmacist and legal practitioner, it holds the distinction of being the inaugural indigenously promoted company listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Founded on August 2, 1971, and officially incorporated on September 14, 1972, as a private liability company under the name Juli Pharmacy (Nigeria) Limited, Juli PLC initially focused on wholesale and retail pharmaceutical products, chemists, druggists, and dispensing of medicines. In response to market demands and management policy goals, the company underwent a diversification program in 1976.

On March 14, 1977, the company's name was changed to Juli Pharmacy and Stores (Nigeria) Limited through a special resolution of the Board. Presently, Juli PLC operates from facilities in Lagos State and Ekiti State, engaging in the storage and marketing of a wide range of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, laboratory chemicals, and general goods.

The company has expanded its services to include a fully recognized government post office within its premises, featuring one thousand post office boxes, registered as JULI House Post Office, Ikeja. This unique facility sets Juli PLC apart as the only private company in Nigeria with such amenities.

Over the years, the company has developed a successful marketing strategy, earning significant goodwill within the industry. In 1976, Juli PLC was honored by the Federal Military Government, being invited to provide pharmaceutical, supermarket, and essential needs to members of the Constituent Assembly in Satellite Town, Lagos. Following the Assembly sessions, the company received a commendation letter from the Head of State for its excellent organization, effective inventory management, realistic pricing, and personalized services.

Taking a significant step in its corporate history, Juli PLC went public through an offer for subscriptions on February 10, 1986. Subsequently, it was quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange under the second-tier Securities Markets (SSM) on November 7, 1986, becoming the first promoted company to be quoted on the exchange.
