He was born on October 25, 1988, in Surulere, Lagos as the last of nine children spread across different marriages. Baaj is from the Yoruba tribe and a native of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
He attended Seat of Wisdom primary school and Caleb Secondary School, Maryland, and later moved to Surulere after his parents divorced. After his secondary education, he got admitted into Covenant University, Ogun State and graduated with a second class upper in Economics in 2009.
Baaj worked with DSTV/GOTV for almost two years before he eventually quitted to pursue his entertainment dreams.
His acting and modelling career kick-started in 2010 while he was still on a nine to five job. During his free time, he would go for auditions until he got a minor role on the Telenovela ‘Tinsel’. The role helped him decide to quit his job to focus on his acting and modelling career. He has since starred in TV series like Secrets and Scandals, Happy Family, Two Sides of a Coin, Deadline and The Men’s Club.
In 2015, Baaj made his big-screen debut in ‘A Soldier’s Story’. That same year, he produced his first movie titled ‘Seeing Betrayal’ which he wrote and directed himself. The movie won best short film at the Zafaa Global Awards.
