He was a footballer but is now a 'mixologist'. He was raised by his single mother and grandmother and revealed that he grew up in Yaba, Lagos.
Boma says he had an "extremely tough" childhood and that he had to pay his way through school. One of his hardest decisions was dropping out of the university when he was in his final year (he had to at the time because he could no longer pay his fees).
A turning point in his life was when he was able to save enough money to pay for film school. While working as an actor and masseuse by day, he hustles as a bartender by night.
He says he has suffered from depression due to his marriage failing and also an injury during his football try-outs.
