Chika Ike

She was born on November 8, 1985, in Onitsha, Anambra State. In 2004, she did a 2-year diploma program in human kinetics and health education at the University of Lagos and later obtained a degree in human kinetics and health education from the same institution. She also studied film-making from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California.

Chika started featuring in church plays at an early age of six. She started her career in modelling at age 16, just after her secondary education. Her professional acting career began in 2005 when she played a minor role in the movie ‘Sweet Love. That same year, she got her major role in the movie ‘Bless the Child’. Over time, she has starred in movies including; My Princess, To Love a Stranger, Before The Rain, Desire, Street President, Royal Honour, Bridge of Contract, The End is Near, Road to Hell, Hottest Babes in Town and Small Chops.

In 2014, Chika launched her production company ‘Chika Ike Production’ where she produced her first movie Miss Teacher.

She also owns a reality show called the African Diva Reality TV Show.

She was once married, but she filed for divorce on the grounds of domestic violence in 2013.
