Personal Life

Jessica Tagbajumi is the Art Production Manager (Assistant) at Kugali Media, a comics and entertainment company showcasing African narratives through comics, augmented reality, and animations.

When she's not studying or designing, she is writing creative stories on African fantasy, Sci-fi, and romance. 

Education

Jessica studied Linguistics and Communications Studies at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She is studying the Foundations of UX Design by Google on Coursera.

While she is fascinated by all aspects of UX Design, her core focus is ideation, storytelling, and visual design.

Career

Jessica experienced the power of a compelling story at a young age and has since had a strong interest in writing.

She published her debut novel, 'Wings of the Night Sky', in 2019. She still maintains a personal blog full of her practice and experimental writing: www.jessyburche.wordpress.com.

 In addition to her work as a production manager for the Kugali Art team, where she plays a critical role in supporting Kugali's artists as they develop the striking artwork and animations loved by people all over the world, she now also writes for Kugali.
