Joseph Benjamin

He was born on November 9, 1976, in Lagos State, to a Kogi State indigene father and an Anambra State mother. He had his primary education in Benue before moving to Lagos for his secondary education. He has a Diploma in Computer Literacy from the University of Nigeria (UNN). He also holds a degree in Mass Communication.

Joseph started acting at age 12 when he featured in the ultimate kiddies show ‘Tales by Moonlight’. The show aired every Sunday on Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) in the 80s. However, he made his movie debut in ‘Crossroads’ alongside Ramsey Nouah.

HE has acted alongside top Nollywood stars such as Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo, Desmond Elliot, Joke Silva and Funke Akindele.

Some of the movies he has featured in include; Deadly Mission, Kidnap, Mr and Mrs, Married but Living Single, Tom, Murder at Prime Suites, Blind Promise, The Grave Dust, Iyore, Omoge Ofege, Judas’ Kiss, Isoken, Affairs of the Heart, Memoirs of 4, Love Birds and the Love Between Us.

Joseph co-hosted MTN Project Fame West Africa, a reality TV show, with Adaora Oleh since 2009

PERSONAL LIFE

Joseph got married in 2004 but is now separated from his wife. Prior to the separation, they both had two children.
