Lin-Manuel Miranda was born in New York City. He got married to Vanessa Nadal, his friend since his high school days, in 2010.

Career

Miranda teamed up with John Buffalo Mailer and director Thomas Kail to revise In the Heights. The musical play premiered in Connecticut in 2005.

In 2007, he had a minor role in the TV series The Sopranos. He also appeared in the Disney film The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012).
