Maria worked for Emirates Airlines as an air hostess. She currently works as a realtor. She is half Austrian by virtue of her mother's nationality. She lost her father in 2013.
She did her secondary school education in Federal Government Girls College (FGGC) Owerri before moving to the University of South Wales for her tertiary education.
