Mike Godson is a Nigerian actor and businessman who was born on October 10th. He was born in Kano State, Nigeria but grew up in Imo State.

Education

Godson had his basic and secondary education in Imo state before proceeding to the University of Jos, Plateau State where he bagged a degree in Theater and Film Arts.

Career

While in the university, he began auditioning for movie roles. Godson commenced his acting career in 2009 but rose to prominence after he featured in a 2010 Nollywood blockbuster movie '7 Books of Moses', produced by Richrock Productions and directed by Nonso Emeka Ekwe.

Godson has starred in more than a hundred films. Pete Edochie, Clem Ohameze, Kenneth Okonkwo, Van Vicker, and John Dumelo have all appeared alongside him. He rose to prominence in 2015 after starring in the film 7 Books of Moses.

In 2018, Godson signed a contract with a Zee World-affiliated Bollywood production company. Godson also owns and operates an agricultural processing and commodity trading company. Godson has indicated that, while his acting career provides him with his basic needs, it might not be able to provide him with financial stability. In 2015, the Independent National Electoral Commission appointed him as a youth ambassador.
