Personal Life

Muyiwa Ademola is a Nollywood actor, film producer, and director, popularly known by his fans as Muyiwa Authentic. He was born on January 26, 1971, at Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, Nigeria.

For his secondary education, he attended St. David's High School at Molete, Ibadan before proceeding to bag a degree in Adult education and Community Development from the University of Ibadan.

Muyiwa got married to his girlfriend of four years, Omolara on June 23, 2006. Prior to his marriage to Omolara, the actor was in a relationship that produced a set of twins and Omolara has been taking care of the twins since they were 7 years old.

Career

He started scriptwriting at a very young age. In 1988, he met Shola Ogunshola, also known as Isho pepper, with his stories, but got rejected because he was young at the time. Relentless, he didn't stop giving his stories to different people.

Muyiwa got his first major contract when he met Charles Olumo, popularly known as Agbako. He later met a movie producer, S.I Ola, who taught him the rudiments of acting and movie production. However, his career in acting fully began in 1991. 

In 1995, he produced his first written script 'Asise' into a movie. The production was sponsored by Dibel who deals in generating sets. His first movie was shot in 1997 but the movie that skyrocketed him to the limelight is the 1997 film 'Ogo Osupa'.

Since 1995, he has directed, produced, and starred in numerous Yoruba movies including Ami Ayo, Fimidara Ire, Iranse Aje, Eyinju Eledumare, Elemosho, Apesin, Alarinka, Omoniyin, Oba Adetoyese.
