Nse Ikpe-Etim is a Nollywood actress who was born on October 21, 1974, in Lagos as the first of six children. She is originally from Akwa Ibom. Due to her father’s career with the Central Bank of Nigeria, she got to live in different parts of the country.
She attended Awa Nursery and Primary School and Command Primary School in Kaduna state for her basic education.
Etim also attended St Louis College, Jos, the Federal Government College, Jos, and the Federal Government College, Ilorin for her secondary education. She is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar.
She started acting on stage at the university when she was 18. Her first appearance on TV was in a family soap opera ‘Inheritance’. Prior to her full-time involvement in the Nigerian movie industry in 2007, she worked in the banking industry and with radio and television stations.
In 2008, she came into prominence for her role in Emem Isong’s ‘Reloaded’. For the movie, she starred alongside Ramsey Nouah, Ini Edo, Rita Dominic and Desmond Elliot.
Some of the movie Etim has featured in include; Venom of Justice, Reloaded, Inale, Kiss and Tell, Spellbound, Phone Swap, Mr and Mrs, Black November, Devil in the Detail, The Green-Eyed, The Visit, A Trip to Jamaica, American Driver, A Hotel Called Memory and Small Chops.
Etim is married to her childhood sweetheart, Clifford Sule. They got married at a Lagos registry on February 14, 2013.
