Personal Life

Pheelz is a Nigerian record producer and songwriter born on June 5, 1994, in Lagos state. Although he originally hails from Ogun state, he was raised in the Ojo area of Lagos. He is the brain behind 'Ridimakulayo' a popular lingo that has gone viral following its attachment in many Nigerian songs.

Career

He had his secondary education at Ideal Comprehensive High School before working under I.D Cabassa at Coded Tunes. At Coded Tunes, he was introduced to Nigerian rapper, Olamide, an introduction that made him gain ground in the music industry. In 2011, he featured vocals in the song 'I'm Going On' off Olamide's 'Rapsodi' album 

However, Pheelz breakthrough came when he produced Olamide's hit single - First of All and Fucking with the Devil - off his 'YBNL' album in 2012. In 2013, NotJustOk included him in the list of 'Top 10 Hottest Producers in Nigeria'.

Pheelz had a strong work relationship with Olamide and he produced all but one song in Olamide's 'Baddest Guy Ever Liveth' album, a move which earned him a nomination at The Headies 2013. He also produced 16 of the 22 songs on Olamide's fourth album 'Street OT' in 2014.

Apart from working with Olamide, he has worked with several musicians including Phyno, Tiwa Savage, Vee, Teni Makanaki and Fireboy DML.

Pheelz has gone on to produce and be credited in popular songs and albums including The Chairman by M.I, Ghetto University by Runtown and Seyi or Shay by Seyi Shay. As a solo artist Pheelz has released a few singles including ‘Son of Abraham’ featuring Olamide.
