Rahama Ibrahim Sadau is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, dancer, and singer who was born on December 7, 1993, to Alhaji Ibrahim Sadau in the north-western state of Kaduna. She grew up alongside her sisters, Zainab Sadau, Fatima Sadau, Aisha Sadau, and Haruna Sadau.
The actress is one of the few Hausa on-screen characters who can converse fluently in both English and Hindi. Sadau is known as 'Priyanka' after the well-known Indian actress. In an interview, she also said that Priyanka Chopra is her role model.
The actress spent the majority of her childhood in Kaduna, where she received her primary education at Libayi International School. She then began her junior secondary school education at Kaduna Capital School.
Sadau studied Human Resource Management at the Eastern Mediterranean University's School of Business and Finance in Northern Cyprus.
Sadau's love for acting began at a young age. She took dance lessons in addition to her regular classes during her school years and also participated in dance contests.
Kannywood actor, Ali Nuhu introduced Sadau to the Kannywood film industry in 2013. She had a few minor roles before hitting the limelight for her appearance in 'Gani ga Wane', alongside Ali Nuhu.
Sadau revealed in an interview that acting has always been a passion of hers since she was a teenager. However, she was initially discouraged because she never met the right producers.
In 2016, she was named the "Face of Kannywood" for the year. She founded Sadau Pictures in 2017, where she created her first film, Rariya, starring Ali Nuhu, Sani Musa Danja, Sadiq Sani Sadiq, and Fati Washa. In MTV Shuga, she reprised her acting career as a career coach. Sadau was one of the returning actors for MTV Shuga's sixth season, "Choices," which aired in 2019. Other returning actors included Timini Egbuson, Yakubu Mohammed, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, and Ruby Akabueze.

The Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN), the dominant association in Kannywood, suspended her from Kannywood on 3 October 2016 for starring in a romantic music video with Jos-born singer Classiq. MOPPAN said that the video's 'hugging and cuddling' was against the Hausa film industry's code of ethics. In 2017, she wrote to MOPPAN to express her regret. Following the intervention of Kano State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the ban placed on her was lifted in January 2018.
In November 2020, she received heavy backlash on social media for promoting nudity after she posted photos of herself in a backless gown. Rumours were later circulated that she was arrested and sentenced over the controversy her photos generated. However, she addressed the issue where she urged people to stop spreading false information about her.
