She was born on October 9, 1974, in Nigeria but moved to the United States when she was 13, where she had her formal education.
Shaffy started off as a singer when she sang the chorus and hook of her cousin, Seyi Sodimu, hit song titled ‘Love Me Jeje’ in 1997. She, however, moved back to Nigeria in 2009 to focus on her acting career. The first major role she got was in the Yoruba movie ‘Eti Keta’.
Ever since then, she has been landing herself major roles in other Nollywood movies. Some of the movies she has featured in include; It’s Her Day, Chief Daddy, When Love Happen, Battleground, Hire a Man, Three Thieves, Iboju, Taste of Love, The Score, Light Will Come, From Lagos with Love, Elevator Baby, The Men’s Club, Your Excellency and many more.
Shaffy has worked alongside several notable Nollywood Stars including Funke Akindele-Bello, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Joke Silva, Toni Tones, Akin Lewis, Alexx Ekubo, Ini Edo, Bovi, Adunni Ade and Desmond Elliot.
