She was born in Lagos on November 28, 1988. At the age of 1, she was relocated to North London, the UK where she attended St Mary’s Church of England Primary School. Stephanie graduated with a degree in Media and Communications from Brunel University.

While studying at the university, she had her internship program at MTV, Channel Four and Media Moguls PR.

In 2010, she won the MTV Freedom Presenter Competition and also got commissioned for her documentary work on young Nigerians called ‘Christmas in Lagos’ by OHTV.

Stephanie got her first job as an anchor on MTV Base Africa countdown show ‘Street Request’ when she moved back to Nigeria in 2011.

She also worked on other projects including Midday Oasis Show on Cool FM, Big Friday Show on MTV with Basketmouth and Tinsel on Africa Magic.

She was announced the host of a new radio show ‘Baileys Boutique’ by Baileys Nigeria, alongside Veronica Ebie-Odeka in December 2013.

Stephanie co-hosted Guinness Colourful World of More Concert, alongside Bovi and Pearl. She was also featured on the cover page of the ‘Love Edition’ of Exquisite Magazine in 2015. In 2016 she became the host for The Voice Nigeria.

As an actress, she featured in ‘Tinsel’, a popular Nigerian TV series and a ‘Hustle’, another popular sitcom program.

 

PERSONAL LIFE

Stephanie Coker got married to Olumide Aderinokun on August 12, 2017 and they are both blessed with a daughter.
