Timini Egbuson

He was born on June 10, 1987, in Lagos State as the last of five children. He originally hails from Bayelsa and is the younger brother to Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande. He attended Greenspring Montessori School, Anthony, Lagos state for his elementary education and went on to Adebayo Mokolu College, Ogba for his secondary education.

Upon completion of his secondary education, he proceeded to the University of Lagos where he graduated with a degree in Psychology.

While Timini was studying at the University, he worked as his sister’s – Dakore – personal assistant on a part-time basis. Upon obtaining his degree, he got a job as a marketing executive with an e-commerce company.  He later transits into acting after working for two and a half years.

He started his acting career in 2010, on M-net’s soap opera ‘Tinsel. His great performance in Tinsel got him included in the cast of MTV’s ‘Shuga Naija’. In 2017, he hosted GT Bank’s Fashion Week Red Carpet alongside Sharon Ooja.

Some of the movies he has appeared in are MTV Shuga, Fifty, Skinny Girl in Transit, Manhunting with Mum, Tinsel, Fifty the Series, Isoken, Something Wicked, Another Time, Room 420, Ajuwaya, The Missing Piece, The Intern, Elevator Baby and The Girl Code.
