History Of Argungu

Argungu Local Government Area, Kebbi State, Nigeria. As of 2007, Argungu city had an estimated population of 47,064 inhabitants. The entire Argungu Local Government Area has an estimated population of 142,921 residents.

Argungu LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Alwasa, Fakkori, Filinde, Gulma, Lailaba, Sakawa, and Gobir. The population of Argungu LGA is predominantly composed of members of the Hausa and Fulani ethnic groups. The Hausa and Fulfulde (Fulani) languages are widely spoken within the area.
