History Of Babura

Babura Local Government Area is situated in the northern part of Jigawa State, Nigeria. It shares borders with Baure Local Government Area of Katsina State to the north, Kazaure to the west, Sule Tankarkar to the east, and Danbatta Local Government Area of Kano State to the south.

The LGA was established to cater to the administrative needs of the area, with its headquarters located in the town of Babura. Babura LGA covers an area of 992 square kilometers. According to the 2006 census, it had a population of 208,101 inhabitants.

Babura LGA comprises several towns and villages, including Bebur, Burukum, Gaskoli, Kafin Rabo, Inshanuwa, Dorawa, and Bai Ali. The postal code of Babura LGA is 732.
